As well as its own fourteen acres of countryside, Shorland Old Farm offers guests a choice of accommodation, with nine cottage style bedrooms, most with their own bathrooms.
There’s a generously-sized living room, and dining room with a big farmhouse table. Both rooms feature wood-burning stoves.
The open-planned studio is part of a self-contained annexe at the far end of the house. It may be rented for the duration of your stay, and has kitchen facilities and lounge area with wood-burning stove.
Our bedroom accommodation is arranged as follows:
A ground floor twin-bedded room, with en-suite shower facilities, and its own stable door onto the garden. Taller guests should be warned that there are some low beams crossing the ceiling.
First floor, double room (kingsize bed), with en-suite shower facilities.

The Cider House
Located on the ground floor of the studio annexe, this is a double room (kingsize bed), sharing shower room facilities with The Apple Store, next door.

The Studio is a 37’ by 24’ room with a large, flexible work space, equipped with folding tables and stackable chairs; a lounge area, with comfy sofas arranged around a wood-burning stove, and a roomy kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, sink, and plenty of crockery and cutlery for drinks and light refreshments. The studio accommodation has its own toilet and access to a small garden area.
The studio is equipped with four lightweight folding easels, four tilting desktop easels and four large, tilting studio easels.
Guests can take full advantage of the gardens with panoramic views, and the picturesque woodland dell.
