Covid-19 update

For the time being, we are not accepting self-catering bookings for 2021 apart from some limited availability in April and May for Shorland Cottage, as we are very much hoping we will be running art holidays again this year (fingers crossed!).

However, we are at the mercy of the Covid-19 situation so will update this page accordingly should things change.

Shorland Cottage

Shorland Cottage sleeps 3

The separate, self-contained Shorland Cottage has a bright and airy open-plan living area on the first floor.  There’s a kitchen with oven and hob, fridge, microwave and freezer; an extendable dining table and chairs; two comfy sofas, Freesat TV and DVD player.  The door and windows at the front look out over the pretty gardens to the rolling farmland and hills of Exmoor beyond.

Behind the cottage is a glass-roofed undercover seating area and a stretch of garden exclusively for the use of cottage guests, with a patio area and picnic table at the top, with wonderful far-reaching views across Exmoor.

Downstairs are two bedrooms.  The larger bedroom can be made up either as a superking-size bed or a twin.  The

smaller room has a single bed. There is a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

The cottage is accessed at first floor level so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Mark and Sandy live on site but in a separate, self-contained part of the building where they will be available should you require any help with anything, but will also respect your privacy and keep well out of your way while you enjoy your stay.
